I have had a hard time posting from the iPad, but I will try again! Today was our second visit with Arnold, and it was wonderful! We got to spend the entire day outside, on a beautiful fall day.
When we came around the corner and saw Arnold with his groupa, as soon as he looked up he shouted and pointed at us then looked at his caregivers as if to say,"hey! It's those people from yesterday! They're back!". Over and over today he kept patting Brian and saying "man, man!" and pointing to me and saying "woman, woman!". He was so excited to have visitors again today.
He has such a great imagination! He picked up sticks and used them like brooms. He grabbed the hose and made a "shhhhh" sound and pretended to water the garden. He took Brian's phone and had a long conversation with Siri. It was so sweet because every time he would push the button to make Siri talk, he would act so surprised to hear her voice and he would shout into the phone. He was telling her about the man and woman visiting him, about the "beep beeps" (cars), and many other things I couldn't understand.
I'm not sure how this mobile blogger uploads, so I am just going to post the photos I have and I will come back to write more when we return home Sunday.
Oh, Becky! I love this! I cried as I looked at the pictures! We are SO SO happy for you guys. I can't wait to meet the little guy.

ReplyDeleteIm in LOVE with his long hair! All the pictures ive seen of the kids are of sad shaved, ultra short haircuts, so it surprised me to see his little "surfer hair" in the back!! Im glad he looks happy - and VERY glad his caretakers are nice and genuinely happy for his new family to come and get him. This whole 3 trip situation is killing me! Why dont you just put him in your carry on??? just kidding. But hes small enough!
